Malibu Morning at Noosa - Original Watercolour and gouache on Canvas

'Malibu Mornings at Noosa' was born from a van trip along the east coast of Australia, a journey shaped by saltwater, sunshine and the slow rhythm of coastal living. Noosa quickly became a place I fell in love with. Cradled by its national park and framed by pandanus trees, it carries a kind of natural magic that lingers with you long after you leave.

This piece captures the feeling of a typical Noosa day. An early morning surf, a midday glide, an afternoon paddle back out. The longboarders move with an ease that mirrors the landscape, unhurried and connected to the water beneath them.

Through the canopy of pandanus and the gentle motion of the surfers, I wanted to express that sense of calm immersion that Noosa gives so freely. It is a celebration of nature, rhythm, and the simple beauty of spending your days by the sea.
